Okay, okay so I know this can be a controversial matter, but I get a TON of requests for a blog post on designer dupes. Some of you like the real deal while others of you are all about a dupe! I fall somewhere RIGHTTTTT in the middle. I love having designer pieces, when I can afford to splurge, but I also understand how tempting it can be to save on a dupe. I will say that all of my handbags are real, and that's one thing that I just prefer to splurge on for the sake of quality. When it comes to shoes and belts, I have a little of both. Sooooo, don't send me any hate messages, lol I am simply extending some resources for those that choose to buy the occasional dupe :)
These designer pieces are some that I am currently obsessing over, or have recently purchased for myself (oops)! Also, a major heads up- if you're used to buying real designer pieces, or you've never purchased a dupe, remember not to expect the quality of a designer piece... hence why it's less expensive ;) I'm always pretty skeptical when I am eyeing a designer inspired item because some websites can be sketchy so read reviews and do a little research before you order!
Here we go... the moment you've been waiting for!
Below I have my favorite designer/dupe combos, and then below that even MORE for you!

My favorite time of year for fashion is FALL! Sweaters, boots, hats, and scarves... ? lol!
I think one of my favorite trends this Fall is going to be mini skirts and OTK boots. It's easy, chic, and just so cute! This look could also be so great with a slouchy sweater instead of a blouse- a simple way to make it a little more casual.
A few other fall trends that I'm loving right now are these baker boy hats (I think I could wear a hat everyday) and I'm also very into teddy coats! I always feel like Fall is a great time to try new trends and push the envelope with my style. I know some people are intimidated by animal print, but maybe try a leopard shoe with a neutral outfit, or an animal print handbag! There are so many fun ways to spice things up with your accessories :)
I've rounded up some of my favorite fall pieces that I've come across and a few that I've already purchased ;) I hope you guys find a few things you like!
Happy Shopping :)

All my Texas girls are all too familiar with this "transitional period" into Fall. It's basically a 3 month period when PSLs (Pumpkin Spice Lattes) and cardigans are all the rage, except it's still too hot to dress completely for Fall here, lol. Soooo us Texas girls just have to pair sweaters with shorts and dresses with boots, until it finally gets cool (normally not until January haha)!
While we're waiting for the cooler weather, here are some pieces I'm suggesting for your transitional wardrobe into Fall! Majority of these picks can be taken right into Winter, and maybe even carried into Spring! In my opinion, it's all about layering a few good staple pieces this time of year. I like to keep my colors fairly neutral, and then add some colorful statement pieces (such as a coat, handbag, or scarf) later in the season as I see them! Then your newly purchased statement pieces match almost everything because your "transitional wardrobe" was mainly neutral colors!
I also love the idea of mixing in a few good prints! Animal print is BACK, and I honestly couldn't be more excited! Don't be intimidated to invest in a good printed blouse, shoe, or even handbag, because I promise you'll get plenty of wear out of it this Fall. Throw on a leopard top with a pair of distressed jeans and booties, or even a solid black dress with heels and a snake skin handbag!
A few other trends that I know I'll be incorporating this season is belts and hats. I am totally a hat girl! Lately I've been super into the baker boy hats, and also the wide brim hats. As far as belts go, I'm thinking about investing in a Gucci belt for Fall because I really think I'll get my money's worth out of it. What do y'all think?
Alsooooo, don't forget that PSLs will be back on August 28th, EEEEP! All my basic girls rejoice with me! LOL! I hope you guys love this round up of transitional pieces for your Fall wardrobe! I came across so many cute pieces that I couldn't fit it all in the collage above, so I've linked more options below! Just click on the pieces you want to shop :)
Have a wonderful rest of your day! MUAH!!!
